Why we are one of Victoria's most trusted providers

Monthly Participant Summaries
Every month, our Director or General Manager personally creates a detailed participant summary capturing progress, outcomes, and highlights (yes, you read that right). It’s our way of keeping families and coordinators in the loop and ensuring everyone can see the impact of our work and the growth of our participants.

Small Activity Budget (Because Not Everything Is Free)
We believe meaningful experiences make the best sessions. That’s why our workers have a small activity budget (up to $20 per session) to cover things like a movie ticket, coffee, or lunch - all reimbursed by CK. There’s no rule against a provider voluntarily covering general recreational costs, and we choose to do it because it’s not about the receipts, it’s about the experiences.

Leadership That Stays Involved
Our management team doesn’t just sit behind desks, they’re out conducting regular check in sessions and providing experience-based advice to their team. Leadership regularly attends care meetings, stays across participant needs, and provides ongoing guidance to staff. Every support worker has a team lead involved in their participants’ journey, ensuring consistent quality and communication.

Support Workers Who Are Mentors, Not Just Staff
We’re proud to provide an all-male support team, not just men with the right qualifications, but mentors we’d want supporting our own family. Each CK worker is chosen for their empathy, reliability, and the positive role model they bring into participants’ lives.

Our Story

Growing up, we both saw firsthand the importance of positive male role models in the lives of young men. Throughout Aaron's career in positive behaviour support, he became increasingly aware of the lack of guidance and support available for many individuals with disabilities, particularly young men.

We wanted to create a community where positive male values were championed through meaningful and fun activities. That's why we founded Community Kings, a company that takes males with disabilities into the community for experiences. At Community Kings, we believe in the power of adventure, community, and positive male role models to promote growth, learning, and engagement.
